Scott Rogers received his B.A. from the University of Alabama in 1986. He went on to get his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1989. While in law school he clerked for the Honorable Edward F. Morgan in Tuscaloosa and was a member of the law school’s successful trial advocacy competition team.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Scott has resided and practiced law in Huntsville since 1989. He is married and has three children. He served the City of Huntsville for approximately 20 years, first as a search warrant magistrate and as a part-time municipal judge, with duties for the “night court” and filling in for day court proceedings. From 2016 through 2018, he was full time interim municipal court judge. Since then, Scott has rebuilt his private practice with concentrations in the areas of family law, business law and real estate.
Scott Rogers is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, the Huntsville/Madison County Bar Association and the University of Alabama Alumni Association. He was honored to serve as a member and past President of the Board of Directors of the Food Bank of North Alabama for 21 years.
